Our exclusive Nature Zone is full of fun and learning. Bailey Farm & Gardens is an environmental education resource for individuals, small groups, local schools, churches and garden clubs.

As informal educators with a wealth of knowledge about horticulture, gardening and the environment, Bill and Julie Bailey provide a variety of offerings and options for engaging children and adults in a love of gardening and the world in which they live.

Initially provided on a volunteer basis due to their love of children and learning and a real desire to be involved with young and old alike, this knowledge resource has evolved into more formal offerings, given the increased demand for us to address a variety of audiences. Of course, we still volunteer our time and knowledge to the community, as well as in various settings (see Community Partners).

Because Bailey Farm & Gardens highly values the environment, the community, and because we enjoy an expansive, wonderful setting of 27 acres situated along the Little River, we want to share it, as well as our love of nature and gardening with individuals and small groups. So we've developed a range of activities and environmental learning opportunities that appeal to young and old alike:
